This year has been another incredible adventure filled with ups and downs in the world of work and we want NIC students to be well-prepared for all the constant changes and looking forward to working in 2022. NIC is pleased to announce a series of new events this fall that will aim to provide some positive, personal interactions about the future of work!
Our first Into 2022 engagement event is a virtual hiring fair for any interested local employers, SMEs, not-for-profit associations & community organizations looking to hire student talent and interested in sharing with students what it takes to succeed in the workplace today!
This online event will be hosted on a virtual platform that will require a separate registration and account sign up thereby allowing students to create a profile and add your availability, areas of interest and even upload a resume if you're actively jobsearching. If both students and employers can create their profiles and virtual booths asap, we can make the venue live prior to event day allowing students more time to do their research and look into the opportunities and organizations who want to meet them.
Participating employers can login, cehck out your resume/profile and send you a message via the platform if they're interested in your skillset and can invite you to visit their booth!
(If you are a returning NIC student who attended last year's BEYOND 2020, then please note we are using the same virtual event platform).
If you are new to NIC, this event is a great way to practice your networking skills at a virtual hiring event and learn more about the local opportunities for co-op and internship in our communities.
There are also a number of in-person and virtual drop in sessions available to students who might want some support creating their profile, updating their resume or just preparing to network with success!
