Work Integrated Learning Student Photo Contest


 
Want to share your work experience and have the chance to win a prize? Show us what you've been up to!


Whether you are working indoors, outdoors, in an office or a busy kitchen, we want to see a pictures from your work term.


Prizes for the top three entries:

  • Grand prize – $100
  • Runner-up – $50
  • Third place – $25

PLEASE NOTE Your submission to the WIL Co-op Photo Contest gives NIC permission to use your photo for marketing purposes.
This means that your submission may appear on a NIC website, in a publication or in other promotional material. When submitting/posting your entry, please ensure to respect the privacy of your employer and do not submit images containing confidential or sensitive content unless you have received consent to do so. If submitting photos of/with individuals other than yourself, please ensure that you have received their consent to do so.

 

Eligibility
To participate in our contest, the photo submitted must be from a work term completed in this current academic year. NIC students must have registered in a Co-op or Internship work term within this time period. Final awarding of prizes is contingent on the winners successfully completing their work term with a passing grade.
We recommend you follow our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/nicses) to keep up to date during the contest and which your photo may be featured on our page.


 

Photographs
Students may submit a maximum of three digital photos. The photo must show the student in their co-op or internship work integrated learning environment.  Each photo submission must include a brief description (50 words or less). The digital photo must be in focus, in JPEG format, and with a file size of at least 1 MB.



How to Enter the Contest
Email your submission to studentemployment@nic.bc.ca with student name and student #.
Contest entry can be a maximum of three photos per student.

The deadline to submit your entry is August 15.



Judging & Awarding Prizes
Contest winners will be contacted directly by phone and/or email, and names will also be listed on our website and Facebook page.
